The Adventure Begins in Taipei! Are you Ready?
Since the release of the original Pokémon games on the Nintendo Game Boy in 1996, the number of Pokémon has grown from 151 to over 1,000. To mark the 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company is proud to announce "PokéXciting!" —a special event series dedicated to our fans across Asia.
Whether you are an active Trainer or a longtime fan who once journeyed through the Pokémon world, this exciting experience has something for everyone. Over the next year, the event will tour five major cities across Asia!

The next stop for our high-energy Asia tour is Taipei!
We are thrilled to announce that the event will take place in the Xiangti Boulevard and its surrounding area.
Event Dates: Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 11, 2026
Admission: Free (Open to everyone!)
During the event, the entire venue will be completely immersed in the world of Pokémon! Here is a sneak peek at the main highlights you can enjoy from day to night.

Important Visitor Notices
【 Venue Safety Guidelines 】
Large crowds are expected on event days. Please do not push, shove, or cut in line, and help us maintain a safe and orderly viewing environment for everyone.
For your safety, viewing the event from the connecting bridges or terrace area of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and Breeze Song Gao is strictly prohibited.
Waiting overnight to hold spots or leaving personal belongings to reserve viewing areas is not permitted.
Please note that no Pokémon Trading Card Game promo cards will be distributed at this event.
【 Stage Viewing & Advance Lottery System 】
As previously announced, the viewing space for the stage performances is managed via an advance lottery system. Please note that those without a successful lottery application will not be able to enter the stage viewing area. (Advance lottery applications closed on Sunday, October 4th at 23:59 Taiwan Time.)
As shown on the venue map, large digital displays are setup in various locations across the event venue. Stage performances and the parade will be broadcasted in live-time, so please feel free to view from these locations. (Please note that capacity limits apply to each area.)

1）The Highly Anticipated Parade
Your favorite Pokémon will be right before your eyes! Join us for a thrilling and heartwarming parade where Pokémon march in time to the music. Getting up close with your favorite Pokémon and sharing that incredible excitement with the crowd will make this an unforgettable experience!
2）POKÉGENIC Spots Scattered Across the Venue
The entire event area will feature a variety of photogenic Pokémon decorations known as "POKÉGENIC"! Pokémon will be hiding in the most unexpected places, so get ready to explore and enjoy a true sense of adventure. Once you spot a Pokémon, try out different poses and snap your best shot! Capture your favorite moments and share them with your family and friends on social media to spread the excitement!
3）Meet “PokéXciting! Pikachu”
To make this celebration even more special, a unique companion named “PokéXciting! Pikachu” will be visiting each city! Surprisingly, this Pikachu will feature a different color costume unique to each city. Taipei will feature a pink variation!
What color variations will the other cities be...? Stay tuned for future announcements!
Non-Stop Fun from Day to Night!
High-Voltage Night Stage: When the sun sets, get ready for special stage shows featuring “PokéXciting! Pikachu”! With danceable beats and a spectacular production, the energy at the venue is guaranteed to be through the roof.
*The viewing area is exclusively for pre-lottery winners.
Merchandise: Special merchandise featuring the Taipei edition of “PokéXciting! Pikachu” will be available for purchase at Pokémon Center TAIPEI from 10 October, 2026.
*Quantities are limited and available while supplies last.
*Store entry maybe limited depending on congestion.
Pokémon GO Collaboration: Get ready, Trainers! “PokéXciting! Pikachu” is also scheduled to appear in-game! Make sure your smartphones are fully charged.
